The MS-Z5 Crusher, from Koritsu Industries, Japan, is a device for secure disposal of sensitive materials such as Hard Disk Drives, Cell Phones, Flash Drives, Storage Media, PCB’s – anything that is no longer needed that may cause a security breach if left accessible. Items to be disposed are simply inserted in a slot on top of the Crusher, and in seconds the item is reduced to unrecognizable and non-restorable bits.
Applications are wide-ranging: Military, Security, Design Manufacturers – anyone who uses data storage in their business. Whether your product is a brand-new design, has a Top-Secret clearance or is classified in any way, contains personnel files or other sensitive data, the Koritsu Crusher will ensure it never gets in the wrong hands or is seen by the wrong eyes.
Compact and easy to use, the Koritsu Crusher uses standard 110AC voltage and is on casters, so it can be used anywhere in your facility. Improper removal of disposed pieces is prevented by a key lock on the disposal container door. Also, only an authorized person who has the key can perform a disposal operation.
The crushing process can be seen through a window in the door, so an exact disposal is confirmed visually. Sound level is only 64dB at close range (about the same as ordinary conversation) so no hearing protection is required.
