Model KX2 Hybrid AOI / X-Ray Inspection

The iPULSE Model KX2 is derived from technologies developed by SONY and proven in Sony’s many worldwide manufacturing facilities. Early in 2006, iPULSE, a Yamaha Motor Company, acquired the AOI product line and several engineers from Sony. Since that time, iPULSE has continued to improve upon the Sony designs, particularly in the areas of man-to-machine interface, program creation, off-line programming and automatic data acquisition. The Model KX2 provides a SMEMA interface and conveyor system for direct installation within any SMT production line for the inspection of printed solder paste, SMD placement or post-reflow quality assurance.
