Compact Automated Solution for Inline or Standalone Applications
The DataPlace Model LCL was designed in
response to the industry's need for a compact,
networked, in-line labeling system capable of
accurately applying coded tracking labels, logos
and other printed information to circuit cards and
other modular products. The DataPlace LCL is well
suited to function in standalone applications or in
concert with load/unload automation. The DataPlace Model
LCL incorporates standard SMEMA interface connections to
support in-line applications for transfer line manufacturing.
Production setups for the DataPlace LCL are accomplished through
the easy manual adjustment of board stops on the transfer conveyor,
and a theta rotation stop on the label placement head. Up to four
x-axis stops may be installed along the belt conveyor so that a
single assembly can receive up to four labels at programmed y-axis
locations. One 600 dpi thermal transfer print-and-deliver station
is installed on the operator side of the machine so that all attendant
activities can occur from the front of the production line. Scanning
and vision systems are available to allow the validation of barcode,
matrix code and other printed information.
